काशीपुर (महानाद) : जनपद ऊधम सिंह नगर प्रभारी/केबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने मंगलवार को काशीपुर पहुंचकर किला मौहल्ला में भाजयुमो द्वारा आयोजित तिरंगा यात्रा रैली कार्यक्रम में प्रतिभाग किया। इस दौरान कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने तिरंगा यात्रा को झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया। इसमें हजारों उत्साहित कार्यकर्ताओं सहित युवाओं स्थानीय लोगों तथा व्यापारियों की बड़ी संख्या में सहभागिता रही। कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने काशीपुर के किला मौहल्ले से महाराणा प्रताप चौक (समापन स्थल) तक तिरंगा यात्रा रैली में दो पहिया वाहन स्वयं चलाकर यात्रा में प्रतिभाग किया।
इस अवसर पर कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने सभी से प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी द्वारा शुरू किए गए ‘हर घर तिरंगा’ अभियान में भाग लेने का आग्रह किया और अपने घरों और प्रतिष्ठानों पर राष्ट्रीय ध्वज फहराने का आवाहन किया। जोशी ने कहा कि तिरंगा फहराने के बाद राष्ट्रीय ध्वज का सम्मान बनाए रखना हम सबका सामूहिक कर्तव्य है। उन्होंने कहा कि स्वतंत्रता दिवस उन वीर शहीदों को स्मरण करने के लिए समर्पित है, जिन्होंने भारत माता की रक्षा के लिए अपने प्राणों की आहुति दी है। उन्होंने कहा कि तिरंगा एक भारत-श्रेष्ठ भारत का भी प्रतीक है। इस दौरान मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने सभी को स्वतंत्रता दिवस की अग्रिम बधाई एवं शुभकामनाएं भी दीं।
इस अवसर पर विधायक त्रिलोक सिंह चीमा, दीपक बाली, राम मेहरोत्रा, निर्वतमान मेयर ऊषा चौधरी, प्रदेश मंत्री गुरविंदर चंडोक, युवा मोर्चा अध्यक्ष विनीत चौधरी, मंडल अध्यक्ष अभिषेक गोयल, सर्वजीत सिंह, अभिनव कुमार, समरपाल चौधरी, जिला मंत्री अमित नारंग, अमन गुप्ता, मंजू यादव, सुधा शर्मा, रीति नागर, वंश गोयल सहित कई लोग उपस्थित रहे।
वहीं प्रशासन की ओर से एसपी अभय कुमार सिंह, एसडीएम अभय प्रताप सिंह, तहसीलदार पंकज चंदोला सहित भारी मात्रा में पुलिस बल मौजूद था।
