हरिद्वार (महानाद) : नानकमत्ता कार सेवा प्रमुख बाबा तरसेम के हत्यारे को पुलिस ने मुठभेड़ में ढेर कर दिया।
आपको बता दें कि नानकमत्ता गुरुद्वारे के कारसेवा प्रमुख बाबा तरसेम सिंह की गोली मारकर हत्या करने वाले 1 लाख के ईनामी अमरजीत सिंह को उत्तराखंड एसटीएफ एवं हरिद्वार पुलिस ने थाना भगवानपुर क्षेत्र में एनकाउंटर कर दिया। वहीं उसका दूसरा साथी फरार होने में कामयाब हो गया। जिसकी तलाश में एसटीएफ और पुलिस की टीमें जुटी हुई हैं। बता दें कि विगत 28 मार्च 2024 की सुबह नानकमत्ता में डेरा कार सेवा प्रमुख बाबा तरसेम सिंह की बाइक सवार दो शूटरों ने गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी थी।
मामले की जानकारी देते हुए डीजीपी उत्तराखंड अभिनव कुमार ने बताया कि एक लाख रुपये का इनामी शूटर अमरजीत सिंह उर्फ बिट्टू मारा गया है, जबकि उसका दूसरा साथी भाग गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि बाबा की हत्या को उत्तराखंड पुलिस ने चुनौती के रूप में लिया था और लगातार एसटीएफ और पुलिस की टीमें दोनों हत्यारों की तलाश कर रही थीं। उत्तराखंड में ऐसे जघन्य अपराध करने वाले अपराधियों से पुलिस सख्ती से निपटेगी।
