उधम सिंह नगर : नहीं रुक रहा शीतलहर का कहर, डीएम ने घोषित की 3 दिन की छुट्टी

रुद्रपुर (महानाद) : उधम सिंह नगर में शीतलहर का कहर कम होने का नाम नहीं ले रहा है। मौसम विभाग द्वारा जिले में घने कोहरी की संभावना जाई गई है। जिस देखते हुए डीएम उधम सिंह नगर ने 3 दिन दिन की छुट्टी घोषित की है।

उक्त आदेश जारी करते हुए डीएम उदयराज सिंह ने कहा कि शीतलहर के दृष्टिगत भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग, देहरादून द्वारा दिनांक 17 जनवरी 2024 को प्रातः 9.30 बजे जारी चेतावनी के अनुसार जनपद उधम सिंह नगर अन्तर्गत सुबह के समय घना कोहरा छाने की सम्भावना व्यक्त की गयी है।

उक्त कारणों से विद्यालयों में जाने वाले छात्र-छात्राओं के जीवन को आसन्न खतरे के दृष्टिगत दिनांक 18-20 जनवरी, 2024 तक (03 दिन) जनपद के समस्त आंगनबाड़ी केन्द्र, शासकीय अर्द्धशासकीय, सरकारी सहायता प्राप्त एवं निजी विद्यालयों के कक्षा 12 तक के छात्र-छात्राओं हेतु अवकाश घोषित किया जाता है। शिक्षणेत्तर कायों के दृष्टिगत समस्त शैक्षणिक एवं मिनिस्ट्रियल कार्मिक विद्यालय में यथा उपस्थित रहेंगे।

उपरोक्त का आदेश से विचलन आपदा प्रबंधन अधिनियम 2005 के सुसंगत प्राविधानों का उल्लंघन माना जायेगा।
