रुद्रपुर (महानाद): एसएसपी उधम सिंह नगर के नेतृत्व में पुलिस ने नानकमत्ता में बाबा तरसेम सिंह हत्याकांड के लिए अपराधियों को एकत्रित करने, संसाधन जुटाने और हथियार उपलब्ध कराकर षड़यंत्र में शामिल बाजपुर के दो और बिलासपुर के एक युवक सहित कुल 3 आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया है। पुलिस इससे पूर्व भी हत्याकांड के 4 षडयंत्रकारियों को जेल भेज चुकी है।
मामले की जानकारी देते हुए एसएसपी मंजूनाथ टीसी ने बताया कि दिनांक 28/03/2024 की प्रातः डेरा कार सेवा, नानकमत्ता के जत्थेदार बाबा तरसेम सिह की 2 अज्ञात मोटर साइकिल सवार व्यक्तियों ने गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी थी। उक्त घटना के खुलासे के लिए एसआईटी का गठन किया गया है।
जांच के दौरान मुकदमा उपरोक्त में मृतक बाबा तरसेम सिंह की हत्या एक पूर्व नियोजित षड़यन्त्र के तहत किया जाना स्पष्ट हो गया था। पुलिस द्वारा पूर्व में बाबा तरसेम सिंह की हत्या की साजिश में 1- दिलबाग सिंह, 2-बलकार सिंह, 3-हरविन्दर सिंह उर्फ पिन्दी तथा 4-अमरदीप सिंह को गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज चुक है।
जांच के दौरान सर्विलांस, सीसीटीवी कैमरे की निगरानी एवं पूछताछ से यह भी तथ्य प्रकाश में आया था कि अभियुक्तगण परगट सिंह पुत्र सोबरन सिंह निवासी तुलापुर, थाना बिलसण्डा, पीलीभीत तथा सुल्तान सिंह निवासी ग्राम दड़हा, थाना बिलासपुर व सतनाम सिह निवासी कुईया, महोलिया, थाना बन्डा, शाहजहांपुर भी बाबा तरसेम सिंह की हत्या की साजिश में शामिल हैं।
सुल्तान सिंह शूटर अमरजीत सिह उर्फ बिट्टू के निकट सम्पर्क में था तथा बिट्टू को हत्याकाण्ड के लिये तैयार करने वाला सुल्तान सिंह ही है। सुल्तान सिह का काफी लम्बा चौड़ा आपराधिक इतिहास है। अभियुक्त परगट सिह को मुखबिर की सूचना के आधार पर दिनांक 06.04.2024 को पुलिस टीम द्वारा गिरफ्तार किया गया है।
जांच में यह तथ्य प्रकाश में आये कि जिस हथियार 315 बोर की रायफल से बाबा तरसेम सिंह की हत्या की गई है, वह बाजपुर निवासी 1. जसपाल सिंह भट्टी उर्फ मिन्टू पुत्र सतपाल सिंह निवासी केशोवाला मोड़, बाजपुर जिला ऊधम सिंह नगर तथा 2-सुखदेव सिंह गिल उर्फ सोनू गिल पुत्र सत्यपाल सिंह निवासी बन्नाखेड़ा, थाना बाजपुर द्वारा शूटर अमरजीत सिंह उर्फ बिट्टू तथा सरबजीत सिंह को बाजपुर में ही उक्त हत्या के षड़यन्त्र में सम्मिलित होकर दिनांक 17.03.2024 को जसपाल सिंह भट्टी उर्फ मिन्टू की स्विफ्ट कार में उपलब्ध कराया था। उक्त स्विफ्ट कार पुलिस द्वारा पूर्व में ही बरामद कर ली गयी है।
शूटर अमरजीत उर्फ बिट्टू तथा जसपाल सिंह भट्टी उर्फ मिन्टू आपस में फुफेरे भाई है, दोनों मूल रूप से सिहोर बिलासपुर के रहने वाले हैं व वर्ष 2014 में थाना रुद्रपुर से एटीएम चोरी व पुलिस टीम पर जानलेवा हमले के मामले में दोनों जेल जा चुके हैं। पुलिस टीम द्वारा दिनांक 06.04.2024 को अभियुक्त जसपाल सिंह भट्टी और दिनांक 07.04.2024 को सुखदेव सिंह गिल को भी गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है। अभियुक्त जसपाल सिंह भट्टी उर्फ मिन्टू एवं सुखदेव सिंह उर्फ सोनू वर्ष 2011 में थाना बाजपुर से हत्या के मामले में साथ-साथ जेल भी गये हैं। जसपाल सिंह भट्टी थाना किच्छा का गैगेस्टर भी रहा है जिसके विरुद्ध उत्तराखण्ड व उत्तर प्रदेश में उपरोक्त अपराध से पूर्व में हत्या के दो मुकदमे सहित 9 अन्य मुकदमे पंजीकृत है। अभियुक्त परगट सिंह के आपराधिक इतिहास की जानकारी की जा रही है।
एसएसपी ऊधम सिंह नगर की सख्त चेतावनी : मामले को लेकर बिना वजह के बयानबाजी और सोशल मीडिया में अफवाह फैलाने वालों के विरुद्ध भी की जाएगी सख्त वैधानिक कार्यवाही।
