मेरठ (महानाद) : पुलिस ने विगम 15 अक्टूबर को टीपी नगर क्षेत्र में कपड़ा व्यापारी के घर से हुई तीस लाख रुपये की चोरी का खुलासा करते हुए व्यापारी की तीसरी पत्नी, सास और 2 सालों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया।
आपको बता दें कि कपड़ा व्यापारी पीयूष मित्तल ने पुलिस को तहरीर देकर बताया था कि 15 अक्टूबर की रात को वह अपने परिवार के साथ बाहर गये हुए थे। इसी दौरान अज्ञात चोरों ने उनके घर से सोने-चांदी के जेवर, अन्य कीमती सामान और लगभग 50 हजार रुपये मिलाकर कुल 30 लाख रुपये की चोरी कर ली है। जांच के दौरान पुलिस ने सीसीटीवी फुुटेज खंगाली तो पता चला कि चोरी में घर के ही किसी सदस्य का हाथ हे।
मामले का खुलासा करते हुए एसपी सिटी आयुष विक्रम सिंह ने बताया कि चोरी की मुख्य साजिशकर्ता व्यापारी की तीसरी पत्नीपूजा मित्तल है। पूजा ने पूछताछ के दौरान अपना जुर्म कबूलते हुए पुलिस को बताया कि उसके भाई रवि की किडनी खराब थी, जिसके इलाज के लिए उसे मोटी रकम की जरूरत थी। भाई के पास पैसे न होने के कारण उसने अपनी मां और 2 भाईयों के साथ मिलकर अपने घर में चोरी का प्लान बनाया।
प्लान के मुताबिक पूजा अपने पति पीयूष मित्तल को खरीदारी के बहाने बाजार ले गई। पीछे से दिल्ली में रहने वाले पूजा के भाई दीपक ने मेरठ आकर चोरी की घटना को अंजाम दे दिया।
पुलिस को सीसीटीवी फुटेज में दिल्ली नंबर की बाइक पर एक संदिग्ध व्यक्ति दिखाई दिया। जांच के बाद पुलिस पूजा तक पहुंच गई। पुलिस द्वारा कड़ाई से की गई पूछताछ में पूजा ने सारी साजिश का खुलासा कर दिया। जिसके बाद पुलिस ने पूजा, उसकी मां अनीता, भाई रवि और दीपक को गिरफ्तार कर उनके पास से चोरी किए गए लाखों रुपये के सोने-चांदी के जेवरात, नकदी और अन्य सामान बरामद कर लिया।
